The New NUDES: COLOR.ME .28 BEIGE.VIOLET

Ever since nude beauty came on to the fashion scene a few seasons ago, makeup artists and clients have pretty much mastered to art of a “nude” face, but when it comes to hair colour, COLOR.ME is proving that the best is yet to come with NUDES.

Currently, there are endless natural colour choices in everything from design to furniture, underwear, shoes and clothing. Easy to wear, NUDES work harmoniously with any outfit you choose. The concept of going nude is not necessarily what it used to be and NUDES by COLOR.ME is unveiling new ways to undress and explore with multi-faceted natural shades that are sure to become the new must-have hues.

The newest SHADE from COLOR.ME by KEVIN.MURPHY, BEIGE.VIOLET reflect .28, is a unique SHADE that creates BEIGE.VIOLET reflects and has a symphony of hues when mixed with other SHADES or BOOSTERS. The result? It allows the colourist to achieve results that range from bronze, blush, pink beige, taupe, oatmeal, right through to deep bronze.

This new hue is made with BEIGE — a mixture of warm and cool, creating a natural soft tone and VIOLET — another tone that has the ability to be warm and cool. Based on your canvas and which reflect you choose to add (including BOOSTERs), this SHADE can easily be enhanced with a warm or cool finish, allowing you to tailor it to all skin tones.

How To Tailor BEIGE.VIOLET To Skin Tone:

COOL SKIN: When depositing, .28 SHADES create natural, blush, oatmeal, taupe and bronze results. If your desired result is cool, consider adding in reflects like .81, CLEAR or BOOSTERS like SOFT.VIOLET or BLUE. When working on warmer canvases, these SHADES will create counteraction due to the additional warmth, leaving a soft warm or natural reflect in the hair. *For suitability, consider adding additional coolness into your formula.

WARM SKIN: When depositing you can create warmer results by tailoring your formula with reflects. YELLOW, RED or ORANGE BOOSTERS will enhance the blush and tangerine, creating a buttery reflect. If lightening with your new .28 BEIGE.VIOLET, the colour will end up warmer due to the undertones in addition to these natural shades. Enhance each SHADE further through your unique formulation.

NEUTRAL SKIN: The lovely thing about this tone is the ability to wear warm or cool colours. If your client has a mix of warm or cool undertones, their preference will take center stage. Create a custom colour formulation based on the desired end result and what works best with their wardrobe and lifestyle.

BEIGE.VIOLET: Suitable for all skin tones. NUDE and BEIGE are pretty similar to each other in tone, however, they are still different when it comes to creating a custom formula. We refer to these as nude colours because they have a little more pinkish edge than beige alone as traditional beige can be seen as a softer brownish colour. That’s why mixing up these two hues is a great way to tailor a new reflect for the personality of the client.

With front-row exposure to the fashion trends on the horizon, KEVIN.MURPHY has a keen eye on how to channel that direction and make it applicable in the salon. Our newest SHADES are a continuation of this philosophy; delivering fashion-forward, multi-tonal colour that is extremely wearable and leads the way to glowing self-expression.
